Locklear Responds To Fox's Departure
LOS ANGELES - Despite initial rumors that Heather Locklear was brought to "Spin City" to potentially replace Michael J. Fox, the actress expresses her surprise at his decision to leave the show on Thursday's edition of "Access Hollywood." "I was as surprised as everyone. I think that... it's the best decision for him and everyone's concerned about Michael," Locklear says. "So, in that case, it's the best for him so it makes us feel better and happy that he's choosing to be with his family, which is the most important thing." Locklear continues, "Today it's a whole different thing. He's finished telling everyone and now he can move on and do what's important. There's a feeling just of goodwill for him and you know we're not finished yet... We have about nine more episodes to kick ass and enjoy it, and be with a great group of people... You really are grateful for it, for the experience and the opportunity." Locklear isn't sure whether "Spin City" will continue after Fox's exit: "I don't know, I think it's such new information, you can speculate but who knows? I think the show is about Michael. So I don't know." |
Even though I don't watch the show, it is truly sad that MJF can no longer continue. And I don't know whether the show can be retooled to make Heather the focus like they did on The Place.
