Premise: He's married ... with children. Jim Belushi stars as a slovely husband with a patient wife and two rambunctious daughters.
     Etc.: Jim's idea of good parenting is playing a game that enables him to drink beer and watch football—two of his favorite pastimes—while his energetic youngsters are off doing something else. Jim loves his kids, but he'll never be named father of the year, a realization that keeps his good-natured wife, Cheryl (Courtney Thorne-Smith), on her toes. "You're a beautiful woman," he tells Cheryl, who replies without missing a beat, "You're a lucky man." Truer words were never spoken.
     First Impressions: The original title was "The Dad." No matter. It's still a dud.
