From the March 9th Hollywood Reporter:

Sofer is cast with pilot
pen in NBC's 'Edge'

By Nellie Andreeva

Rena Sofer, who most recently starred in the Greenblatt Janollari Studio's short-lived comedy series "Oh Grow Up" on ABC, has been cast as the female lead in "News From the Edge," a pilot presentation for NBC produced by Greenblatt Janollari and NBC Studios.
Sofer will play a feisty young woman who is one of the top reporters at the World Chronicle, a tabloid newspaper. She is joining Chad Willett, who has already been cast. The plot revolves around Chad's character, who goes to work for the tabloid to find out that all the unbelievable, fantastic stories that appear in it are true.
Sofer, repped by Metropolitan Talent Agency's Karen Forman, also starred in Fox's "Melrose Place" and ABC daytime soap "General Hospital." She will next be seen in the Disney feature "Keeping the Faith."

All those tabloid stories are true, aren't they?
