From the March 8th Hollywood Reporter:

For WB, Estes
is 'Street' legal

By Nellie Andreeva

"Melrose Place" star Rob Estes, who spent last season on "Suddenly Susan," is going back to the drama circle. He has been cast as the lead on Warner Bros. TV drama pilot "Sullivan Street" for the WB network.
Estes' character, Steve Brandes, is a charismatic New York law professor in his late 20s who runs his university's legal clinic, where law students work on real cases free of charge for people who cannot afford a lawyer.
Estes' new gig won't interfere with his "Suddenly Susan" duties; his contract on that show is up at the end of the season. So even if "Susan" is back for another season, which few believe is likely, Estes will head to "Sullivan Street."
Both projects are part of Estes' overall deal with Warner Bros. TV.
Estes, who also starred in CBS' "Silk Stalkings" and NBC's "Days of Our Lives," is repped by ICM's Ron West and managed by Joan Green.

In his last pilot, he played a doctor. In this one, he's a lawyer. So I guess he'll be an Indian chief in his next one.
