“Chinese Baby” -- After being told by her therapist that she has a lot of love to give, Lindsay takes a grandiose step and adopts a Chinese baby. Meanwhile, when the network invokes a cover story to conceal a very unorthodox weight-loss method used on an actress, David takes it upon himself to tell her the truth; and Paul struggles to find the perfect gift for a difficult star (Lisa Rinna, “Melrose Place”), on “My Adventures in Television,” WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5 (9:30-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. “My Adventures in Television” stars Ivan Sergei as David Weiss, Ed Begley, Jr. as Paul Weffler, James McCauley as Mike McClarren, Melinda McGraw as Lindsay Urich and Sherri Shepherd as Joanne Walker. In case you've never heard of this show, it was formerly called Wednesday 9:30 (8:30 Central), a descriptive title for when it aired. It should have been renamed, Canceled After Two Episodes, which is what happened. Too bad, I actually liked it.
