Locklear Commits to 'The Perfect Man' LOS
ANGELES - Heather Locklear, who's married to rock star Richie
Sambora of Bon Jovi, will next play the mother of pop star Hilary Duff. The 42-year-old actress has just signed on
for "The Perfect Man," which centers on a teenager (Duff) whose quest
is to find the perfect partner for her single mom (Locklear) and in the process
has a run-in with the law, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "Sex and the City's" Chris Noth
will play a family friend who may just be the ideal candidate for the job, if
any of the women would pay attention. Mike O'Malley ("Yes, Dear")
will play a potential suitor. Mark Rosman, who also directed the other Duff
film "A Cinderella Story," will helm the Universal Pictures project,
which will begin shooting in late April in Toronto. In 2003, Locklear appeared in "Uptown
Girls" and "Looney Tunes: Back in Action." Her television
credits include "Spin City" and "Melrose Place," "T.J.
Hooker" and "Dynasty." |
