Rena Sofer Guests on 'Friends'
LOS ANGELES - Rena Sofer is getting some new "Friends," although Rachel won't be one of them as she guest-stars on the NBC comedy. Sofer, who played the recurring role of Ed's love interest ADA Bonnie Hayne on "Ed," will be causing Rachel's (Jennifer Aniston) ire as she falls for Ross (David Schwimmer). In the episode called "The One with the Cooking Class," Sofer plays a wide-eyed salesgirl at a baby supply store who is openly enamored with the expectant father. The episode is slated to air in May. The actress most recently starred in the cancelled Sci Fi series, "The Chronicle." Her other credits include the series "Opposite Sex," "Oh Grow Up," "Melrose Place" and "General Hospital." Her film credits include "Keeing the Faith" and "Traffic." Alec Baldwin was previously announced as an upcoming guest-star on the series, appearing in a separate episode on Thursday, Mar. 28. |
If they could get Kristin Davis to return as one of Joey's girlfriends, there could be another mini Melrose reunion.
