"Spin City" Stars Present at Emmys
Two of TV's hottest stars from the '80s and '90s have just been confirmed as presenters for "The 51st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards." "Spin City"'s Michael J. Fox and former "Melrose Place" vixen Heather Locklear, who recently climbed aboard the cast of Fox's ABC sitcom, will join the list of stars set give away the coveted award. Fox spent seven years on the '80s hit "Family Ties," for which he garnered three Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe as the young Republican Alex P. Keaton. Locklear's credits during the decade of decadence include concurrent starring roles on "T.J. Hooker," where she watched William Shatner ride on the hoods of criminal's cars from 1982-87, and the primetime soap "Dynasty." Calista Flockhart ("Ally McBeal"), David Spade ("Just Shoot Me"), Sarah Jessica Parker ("Sex and the City"), Garry Shandling ("Larry Sanders Show"), Dennis Franz ("NYPD Blue"), Dylan McDermott ("The Practice"), Jenna Elfman ("Dharma & Greg"), Sarah Michelle Gellar ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer"), Keri Russell ("Felicity") and Jon Stewart ("The Daily Show") are also among those scheduled to appear as presenters. "The 51st Primetime Emmy Awards" will broadcast live from Los Angeles' historic Shrine Auditorium, Sunday, September 12 at 8 p.m. on FOX. |
