From the June 19th TV Guide On-Line:
EDITED BY SUSAN C. BEACHY CORRECTION: A Daily Dish article about behind-the-scenes changes at Melrose Place on Wed., June 17, erroneously reported that former Melrose executive producer Frank South's departure from the show was related to the recent wrongful termination lawsuit involving Melrose actress Hunter Tylo. That is not the case. The article also mistakenly identified South as the executive who allegedly told Tylo to get an abortion in order to keep her job with the show. That accusation was directed at another executive during the Tylo trial. Daily Dish regrets the errors. |
The executive who allegedly suggested Tylo get an abortion was Spelling Entertainment President Jonathan Levin. South was probably fired because the show just plain sucked.
