AMANDA'S LIFE IS IN TURMOIL!

     The seasons may be changing, but one thing that will always stay the same in the apartment complex is Amanda's influence in that little community. "Amanda will really move into the forefront of the show and a lot of the stories will spin around her," reveals MELROSE PLACE executive producer Carol Mendelsohn.
     You won't have to wait for the leaves to change for Amanda to return to front and center. As usual, there's more than one man who has his eye on the blonde beauty. After surviving her short-lived marriage to Rory, Amanda seems to be heading for a happy ending when she and Kyle reunite. But happiness only lasts as long as the next commercial break. She may not have to worry about Kyle's ex-wife Taylor anymore, but Amanda has other problems todeal with, like being kidnapped! Her captors are in for a surprise if they think that they can break the tough-as-nails Ms. Woodward.
     Amanda's predicament sets up another conflict: Will it be Kyle or Amanda's ex-husband Peter who gets to play her white knight? Whoever gets the honor of coming to her aid, you can bet that there will be a battle between her two suitors to win Amanda' s affections. If Peter's involved, you've guaranteed that it won't be a fair fight. Don't forget: Peter has come close to going over the edge more than once, especially where Amanda's concerned.
     With Kyle's estranged brother Ryan coming to town, her newly-forged friendship with Jane and the secrets revealed in Matts journal, Amanda will be involved in everyone's story!
