Sources say Aaron Spelling wanted his golden girl, Heather Locklear (ex-Amanda, MELROSE PLACE; ex-Sammy Jo, DYNASTY), to appear in four episodes of TITANS (for a whopping reported $200,000 a show). But ABC believed it would be a conflict of interest for the actress, who currently stars on SPIN CITY.

That's ABC's payback for NBC asking its stars not to appear on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Celebrity Edition.
