PRIME-TIME TIME BOMBS TICK
April is the cruelest month? Ha! February will be a doozy on prime-time.
MELROSE PLACE
"Kyle explodes, and Peter and Amanda will be drawn closer together," previews Co-Executive Producer Charles Pratt, Jr. "As Kyle loses complete control, he will be out of Amanda's life... temporarily. He becomes suspicious that something is going on between Peter and Amanda."
So does Eve, who is peeved by Peter's concern for Amanda. As a consequence, Eve "manages to stir up Kyle, who's separated from everybody," offers Pratt. "When Kyle comes back, he has murder in his eyes - and somebody almost dies." Ultimately, adds Co-Executive Producer Carol Mendelsohn, "Amanda will suffer a huge loss because of Kyle's actions."
Kyle's heartaches won't end there, thanks to his father, Mack, who comes to town in the person of John Reilly (ex-Del, SUNSET BEACH; ex-Bill, 90210; ex-Sean, GENERAL HOSPITAL). Says Pratt, "He's a son-of-a-bitch former drill instructor from the Marines who has a very strained relationship with his sons."
Speaking of strained relationships, Jane and Michael's life will be rocked by Nurse Audrey, played by Stephanie Cameron (ex-Jennifer, DAYS OF OUR LIVES). "Michael grows tired of being a working doctor," Pratt explains. "His greed gets him involved in a scam with the nurse."
