Who says the Westside is the only place to party?
     Judging by the 2,000 Angelenos who pulled up in convertibles and BMWs to the valets at the red pagoda on Hill Street, Chinatown could soon be the place to boogie and be seen with martini in hand.
     They packed the Chinatown plaza Thursday at the "7 Deadly Sins Escapade" party hosted by New York's Stuff magazine. And talk about sinful fashion. The cigarette-smoking 20-something throng dressed in everything from cowboy chic to kung fu outfits to revealing leather.
     Some changed into new Asian threads purchased at several plaza stores as they grooved into the mood of the night that included dancing and chowing down on more than 9,000 pieces of dim sum and 6,000 cocktails until 2 a.m.
     All this was pulled together by party planner Jeffrey Best of Best Events, who has been pitching Chinatown as a hot party spot for the past six years. Now Best and his pals want to vacate West Hollywood for digs in C-town. He said, "The place is that cool."
